분명한 공과 그것으로 가릴 수 없는 과가 있다.
그러나
모든 것을 노무현의 탓으로 돌린 사람들의 절반은 실제로 고통 받은 사람일지 모르고
그 나머지 절반은 남의 잘못으로 자신의 허물을 덮으려는 사람들일지 모른다.
그 나머지 절반에는 현실에 근거하지 않은 꽤 괜찮은 공상을 한 나 같은 사람도 포함된다.

좋은 하루
가끔 버스정류장에서 담배도 빌리고 몇 정거장 같이 타기도 하는 한 동네 주민이
"그럼 오늘도 좋은 하루 되세요" 하면서 내리는데 참 좋더라. 고마운 일이다.

1. 30년전 그날의 야엔데(Salvador Allende)와 칠레를 기념하기 위한 콘서트이다.
다음과 같은 인사말로 콘서트는 시작되었다.
Good evening my friends. Here we are again, the same as always, and with these concerts we are completing the circle of memory. We want to vindicate what have been because only with our roots in the past we can build tomorrows' dreams. Happily some of our songs were not taken by the wind. These are the ones that count. We would like to sing them again in this occasion. We remain with our hearts set in the same place as always. In Chile, in democracy, in complete justice, in solidarity and respect for human rights but above everything in the certainty that art and poetry, creation and imagination are the real purpose of all these dreams (Eduardo Carrasco)
2. 그냥 음악만 듣는 것 보다 화면이 있는 것이 더욱 흥미롭다는 사실을 이제사 깨달았다. (DVD에는 20여곡이 실려있고, 같이 따라 오는 CD에는 11곡이 들어 있다) Tuck & Patti 도 마찬가지였다.

프레시안
가난한 사람일수록 악착같이 글을 써야 한다. 그렇지 않으면, 힘 있는 자의 편을 드는 기록만 남게 된다. 그렇게 되면, 뒷날의 역사가들은 해외 유명 브랜드에 열광하는 투기꾼의 시대로 오늘을 기록할 수밖에 없다. 현실에서 소외된 가난한 이들은 역사에서도 사라진다. (프레시안 2/10/2008 월요일 출근길에 이 책을 읽자)
한 가지의 사안에 의견이 분분할 때 좀 야박하다 싶을 정도로 공정성을 유지하려고 '노력'하는 프레시안의 의견에 개인적인 가중치를 부여하는 편이다. 가장 공정한 매체인지는 알 수 없으나 확실히 알짬이 풍성한 곳이라 생각한다.

철새
2월 3일 지나서 탈당하면 모양 빠진다고 하던데 혹시나 하고 임시대의원회의 결과가 나올 때 까지 기다렸다. 결과는 다수의 예상대로 나온 것이라고 하니 그런가보다 하고 탈당계를 작성해서 제출했다. 당연히 나를 대변할 또 다른 정당을 찾아서 당원이 될 예정이다. 교훈: 가는 길이 다르면 같이 일을 도모하지 말라는 옛 말씀이 또 맞았다는 것, 그리고 조또 아닌 무정파 평당원은 철새처럼 왔다 갔다 해야 한다는 것.
